The Sadie Jane is nestled in the heart of Slidell, LA, offering couples a perfect blend of southern charm  and elegance for their wedding day. Conveniently located just outside of New Orleans, this venue gives you that hometown feel while still being close enough to the city to make travel a breeze. 🌿

How to Drive to The Sadie Jane

Unlike most wedding venues in Louisiana, The Sadie Jane isn’t hidden nor is it too far off the beaten path! 

The cozy barn venue is located inside of the Pinewood Country Club neighborhood, right off of Robert Boulevard. Simply follow the main road through the neighborhood. About halfway through, you should see Pinewood Country Club on your left – you’ll know you’ve made it when you see golf carts, the club house, and the cutest little pool area. Turn into the club parking lot and sitting at the right edge of the property is The Sadie Jane!

The Sadie Jane offers a seamless wedding experience – they do weddings. The on-site staff is always around to help manage vendors, coordinate timelines, and help with anything that may pop up on your big day. The day-of-coordinator is often the unsung MVP of your wedding day and guess what? Your coordinating bestie is already included when you book! Quick with a golf cart and quick with a helping hand, they’ve got your back, babe 😉

As well, they take care of all the setup and breakdown. No lugging in chairs or tables, no setting up centerpieces or staying an hour after the party is over to clean up. The owners and staff of The Sadie Jane know you want to manage as little as possible on your wedding day. So they make sure to take care of the rest. 

Customizable and Comprehensive Packages

The Sadie Jane isn’t just a wedding venue. The owners also own the local favorite restaurant Nola Southern Grill. What does this mean? This means The Sadie Jane is an all inclusive package with food and drinks already taken care of. Still need to find food and bar vendors? Not anymore!

Start the evening off with hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and fill the rest of your stomach with a delicious buffet serving a menu selected by you and your fiance. Perfectly paired with that mouth watering menu is their premium bar. Grab a cocktail, your choice of assorted wine or beer, or your comfort soft drink of choice. 

FAQ’s About The Sadie Jane Weddings

Is The Sadie Jane LGBT friendly?

Yes! Love is love, and The Sadie Jane welcomes couples of any orientation to celebrate their love here. <3

Can we add our own decorations?

Yes ma’am! The Sadie Jane offers a selection of table centerpieces, but you are more than welcome to bring your own DIY/ordered centerpieces. It’s your day, and it’s your decor!

Do you allow a sparkler or confetti exit?

Sparklers are allowed as well as glow sticks and bubbles. Confetti is not allowed inside or outside.

Do you allow candles?

Candles may be used as long as the candles are on or in a candle holder or something that catches the wax. Taper candles must be slow burning, non-drip, and covered with a globe.

Is there a deposit necessary to book the space? 

Yes, the deposit is a 20 % non-refundable deposit to secure your date at The Sadie Jane. The deposit is based on the total amount of your event.

Is the space handicap accessible? 

Almost everything in The Sadie Jane is handicap accessible. The only area inaccessible is the second floor where the bridal suites are located. The first floor of The Sadie Jane and the outdoor ceremony area are both handicap accessible.

Can I use an outside caterer?

The Sadie Jane is an all-inclusive package, so there is not outside catering allowed. All food must be done through and with The Sadie Jane.

The Best Time of Year to Get Married at The Sadie Jane

Thanks to The Sadie Jane’s indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and the indoor reception area, there’s no wrong time to get married at The Sadie Jane. However, the outdoor ceremony does have a best season

For the best weather for an outdoor ceremony, plan for a wedding in either October – November or late February – April. Temperatures will comfortably be between the 50s to 70s. There is a higher chance of rain in the spring, so if weather is your worry, aim for October or November. These are busy months though, so book sooner rather than later!

In the winter, The Sadie Jane’s elegant indoor reception area becomes a cozy haven, with its warm stone fireplace and twinkling chandeliers adding a touch of magic to your celebration. 

For summer weddings, the open-air patio is ideal for enjoying cocktails and dancing under the stars, while the venue’s air-conditioned indoor space keeps everyone cool and comfortable.   • Monday-Thursday: $9,120

  • 175-199 guests: $60 per person 
  • 200-249 guests: $55 per person 
  • 250+ guests: $50 per person

Ceremony Time Costs

All pricings are for 5:00 pm weddings.
Ceremonies at 11am are available for a 15% discount
